1950s Royal Haeger "Lemon Peel" Lava Glaze Ceramic Large Bowl

This rare, ceramic bowl is by world-famous ceramicist, Alrun Guest, for Royal Haeger Potteries in the 1950/60s. Alrun Guest brought her unique designs and glaze techniques with her when she moved from Europe to the US. The bowl has a rare but distinctive lemon peel lava texture and color. The brown and tan piece is glazed over with a bright yellow and gray bubbly finish. A beautiful large example of Royal Haeger Mid-Century brutalist pottery from the era. Signed.
