Vintage 1920's black silk chiffon Gatsby Era dress covered in art deco patterned of glass beading. More than your average "little black dress" This amazing vintage dress is a wonderful example of 1920s couture of the time, the dress is an art piece. Drop waist, to the ankle flapper style, With a sweet-heart neckline on the bodice. Deco bead details on three tier layers of gossamer chiffon silk, The lining is a slip style with thin straps at the shoulders, however it is attached to the dress. This is NOT a reproduction or a modern imitation, this is an original 1920s dress. An outstanding example for a collector, some damage but still very wearable. Shipping is more costly for this item because it must be sent by expedited post due to both the value and the weight of the garment.

Condition: GOOD for vintage of the era, the dress is heavy with beading and should be worn with care. Overall structurally great, Slight tearing at left hip where bow ties. Beading in-tact – a few beads are looser than they should be on the back skirt. Cleaned and ready to wear. ***see photo details*** priced accordingly
