From the 1940s this lovely print sarong dress is made of cold rayon in a bright blue floral with ruffle side flounce, tulip sleeves (dolman tailoring), and fitted wrap waist. Pretty abstract flowers in pink, teal, off-white, with green coil stems. Draped sarong panel at the hip. Side metal zip. Unlined. Hand washed and ready to wear! True WWII day dress evokes tunes of the Andrews Sisters and is a symbol of hope during a war-torn era. Great with boots and try a wide belt modernizing the vintage look!

Condition is very good, with slight discoloration on shoulders from long-term storage. Zipper and fabric quality good. A great example of a well-preserved 1940s dress.
