Details: A light umbrella used to give shade from the sun. This beautiful and unique vintage parasol with patchwork designs, is from the 1940-50s. The cotton canopy is printed with the most gorgeous colour mix of yellow, blue and shades of red. Stripes form palid motifs with white stitch details and recount bright beach days on the Riviera.

The metal mechanism is in good working order and slides easily up and down the shaft. The expanding stays are all metal, and undamaged. It opens out to a very pleasing dome shape. The curved handle is made of wood, as is the shaft and top elongated tip. There is a snap strap to close and secure the umbrella when not in use.

Some fading and rust stains on the inside canopy, no rips or tears - in good working order and that fabric is just so pretty!
