Description: Breathtaking 1960/70s SHARON'S WORLD Marabou Cocktail Dress. No object better epitomizes sex kitten glamour than marabou Feathers! Iconic images of Marylin Monroe & Mae West come to mind, garbed in downey trimmed evening wear, Feather boas, negligee and marabou mule slippers. This dress interprets that Hollywood drama into a more modern silhouette. The date of this dress is late 60s-early 70s and the ombre dying from shoulder to hem in luminous copper is just gorgeous! Extremely lustrous, and beautifully hand tailored, the Marabou trim is in great shape with no molting. There are a few flaws which may be corrected by close attention and/or additional dry cleaning. We have not touched the dress, other than to steam for photography. Please see photos note: a pull on the sleeve, a flaw at the bust, and a watermark with streak of grey on the left front hip. The dressed is priced accordingly and is VERY wearable regardless. This cocktail dress is labeled vintage 7/8.
