This Breathtaking Blouson Evening Dress was custom-made by the owner for a NYC black tie event in 1964. The maker was in the fashion business and created many garments, always choosing the finest fabrics to complement her innovative designs.

The beautiful metallic upper bodice drapes from the wide straight neckline, with a rope-like bow to one side. It overlays the straight-column skirt and is so dramatic in color contrast and styling. The look is sophisticated 60s "does" 1920s style. This Gatsby Garment is in very good wearable condition.
