Description: Stunning example of Pauline Trigere tailoring with close attention to fabric, fit and silhouette. This skirt suit set has a boxy cropped jacket over a deeply pleated flare skirt. Both garments button down the front. The oversize houndstooth design is woven with plied textural yarns and is chunky and dimensional. We illustrate the skirt both pinned and unpinned to show that the jacket was originally built for the owner who had smaller shoulders and chest but was fuller at the waist and hips. We love the retro French styling and find the set to be as modern today as it was then. Obviously a custom set, the quality is impeccable.
