This traditional authentic dirndl dress is from the 1970s. Made by the Salzburger Drindl company for heritage festivals, Oktoberfest and ceremonial events. The dress is a classic dirndl with a plunging square neckline. There is a metal zipper up the front bodice, and has a wide full skirt. The hem and chest of the dress are beautifully embroidered with colorful flowers. It’s a classic dress in warm autumnal colors and would be gorgeous combined with a folk embroidered blouse or ruffle top. The fabric is thick and soft, the bodice of the dress is full lined with muslin. The size is marked a Dutch 40 which equates to a USA M/L. Please use measurements below for size approximation. There is seam allowance inside the bodice – at the sides and length for a tailored fit to the new owner.
