Fun and fabulous Maxi dress by The Vested Gentress. White Top with yellow print skirt bottom. The sleeveless bodice has little ruffles at the neckline and would be great with a chunky belt or colorful sash.
The label points this dress to around the 1970s, possibly late 60s. Earlier labels did not have her holding the crop in her hand. It's marked a size 16, please note that vintage often runs small - see measurements. It is made of a crisp poly/cotton blend that feels like cotton. The dress is in excellent condition! *More often this vintage brand is available in short dresses so a maxi-length dress with such a fun novelty print is pretty special*.

The Vested Gentress was created in 1961 by Bud and Naomi Jackson and was based in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania. The company was known for whimsical screen-printed fabrics, so lovely and fun! Many of these were designed by Bud Jackson. They were made into dresses, pants, and skirts. The company went out of business in about 1985.
