Surely this show-stopping corset dress was modeled after Lady Diana's Taffeta evening dress of November 1987, at the Munich Opera House. The resemblance is so similar - but mini!

The strapless corset-style boned bodice of the dress is in black velvet with a sweetheart neckline. Three tiers of taffeta and an enormous attached bow add to the voluminous mini skirt, emphasizing the tiny bodice. This dress is an extra small, and you can see by the photos that it did not fit my size 4 mannequin! The back has a zip closure and the bow is attached with a hook & eye.

Excellent vintage condition.
