Ukrainian embroidered linen shirt known as a "Vyshyvanka". This vintage national blouse is unique - it was made at the beginning of the last century in the Poltava region before World War II, and is a part of the national traditional Ukrainian clothing costume. It is made entirely by hand (hand-sewn and hand-embroidered).
It can be seen that the embroidered shirt was made of several pieces of linen (see the photo), 100% hand-made cross-stitch embroidery in the floral technique of the Central region of Ukraine, in red. Homespun fabric is perhaps a linen-cotton or linen-hemp blend, A unique fabric of the time. Good vintage condition, there are small traces of time.
